math sucks. period. Ms. Berardi is out of her fucking mind giving us 4 hours of homework over the weekend. I hate that woman more than anyone will ever know. At this point, I don't even care if I pass the advanced placement test, because even if I do I don't want to skip a year of college. It sucks...grrrrr. If I see one more integral sign I'll kill someone, and if you don't believe me just wait. /rant
In other news, this week will be pretty easy now that Footloose is over. I'm only going to be in school till 6pm because of rehearsal for the winter concert. Isn't it sad that I said only 6pm? I really need to drop some extra-currics. But I love them so much, gotta deal I suppose.
I got an 85% on my last AP Calculus test, which is the highest I've gotten all year. Any other class I'd be really upset, but I study so much in this class that I can't be mad at myself. Besides, it's only one class, my overall average is a 94 and that's pretty damn good if I do say so myself.
Next wednesday I'm going to see Better Than Ezra with Melissa, Lauren and Sam. I'm so excited even though I haven't heard much of their stuff. It'll be great to hang out with some friends and jsut goof off for once. Then this weekend, we're going to have a girl's day in manhattan for Christine's birthday complete with romp around 5th Avenue to look at all the expensive stores like Lois Vuitton, Fendi and Bergdorf's. I might buy something small for Jesse since she's so into the designer scene. Speaking of 5th Ave, Christine loved her gift and wore it to Twiggy's party yesterday. She cried when she read my letter...gah, it was so sugary I nearly got tooth decay. I'm glad she liked it though.
Was supposed to see Cabaret with Erin, Nick and Caitlin next thursday but the tickets are low so he can onyl buy 2 per day. So, Erin and Nick are going to go because Nick is obsessed with that show and Erin is obsessed with Joe (hahaha Er, just kidding!)
I wish I could have seen Finding Neverland with Allie and Katie tonight, but Ms. Berardi and that shitload of other homework made it impossible. If you two are reading this, we NEED to hang out soon. I miss you so much!
I've started freaking out over the college search once again since the play ended and I had time to think. Anyone know a good school for English literature and French majors? No shitty campuses, cause I'm very picky...but I need all the help I can get. Junior year sucks. :(

They announced the Easter trip. woot woot.
Austria, Germany and Italy.
Damn, I mean its cool and all but amsterdam is hot! And well, you can drink at like 7 in da UK. Ok, not 7 but pretty damn close. This irks me. No red telephone booths either. But Germany and Austria sound awesome!
I can buy lots and lots and lots of pretty things in italy. And then when people ask where I got it I can be like 'oh, it's straight from milan' Ha! I'm so pompous! And german boys are hotness, but the accent is pretty bad. Ja ja. And I've always wanted to go to Austria and sing The Sound of Music....see Aly. See Aly frolic. Frolic, Aly, frolic!
Ahhhh so much fun! My first plane ride and itll be like 10 hours. woot!

english: ok I lied, this is the best class ever. Ms. Coughlin rocks! She gave us cookies and she's got an accent! Oh joy! Oh rapture. I ain't sure if shes Irish or Scottish (pshaw...same difference) but who cares? COOKIES!
er...what was next?
oh yah!
french: intimate! By intimate I mean there's a class of 7 people. So we sit in a circle and Isgro goes on and on and on abotu nothing at all....in french. Hello?!! What are you saying? Do I need to spell it out for you? I.AM.AN.AMERICAN. but still, it's a great class.
religion: yay! God.

Ah! I forgot it's fashion week. Has anyone else seen that crapp that UGG put out? Ew...horrendous. Just because the boots are adorable does not mean you should go make skirts in the same fashion. Or handbags.
...why?!

This is a very odd moment. Here it is, Sept. 10 at 11:45, and I've just remembered tomorrow is 9/11. Isn't strange that it was just 3 years ago that the twin towers collapsed. I saw the explosions from my classroom window. My neighborhood was covered in soot for days, it was raining fire. I still have someone's charred paycheck that was never distributed, I found it on my front porch. Three years ago, I attended four funerals. I'd walk out my door and there would be fireman going down the street, helmet in hands, as they went to tell one of my neighbors their husband/son/daughter/friend wasn't coming back from the rubble.
And here it is, three years later and I forgot. I'm ashamed, I feel like I've disgraced the memory of Timmy, Vincent, Mike and all the others who I grew up with. My friend's parents, my neighbors, people I went to church with or saw on the street...
To think i was worried about my report.
God bless America. United we stand, divided we fall.

I just bit my tea bag while I was sucking on it, an odd habit I've had since I was three. Anyway, it is at this point in time that I, Alyson E. Childers (esquire, princess of the free world, aged to perfection goddess etcetera etcetera...) have come to the conclusion that tea leaves are infinitesimally more enjoyable whilst being consumed inside the bag as opposed to inside ones mouth.
Thank you.
And now I resume my monotonous task of staring at the cancerous screen in front of me a.k.a 'writing' -cough cough- my American History report.

Tomorrow is the first day of school, and I plan to make it the best yet. Junior year is amazing and Kearney has events that my old school didn't (jr. prom, the europe trip) and I'll be taking advatage of them.
Apart from a few problems (my uniform isnt here yet, I still have a 5 page report to do...) I'm really looking forward to it.
In honor of the new year, I've made a few goals
1- to be one of the top 5 students 2- to find myself a date to jr prom 3- to lose weight...by avoiding the popcorn chicken and all the other cafeteria foods. 4- to do my homework on time! 5- to have a... 90 85 83 in AP Calc.
there are more, but most of them are private.
Happy Junior Year to all my Kearney friends!

Well, that was possibly the best weekend EVEERRR!!! I love labor day, down Breezy it's just insane. Let me give y'all the rundown.
saturday: mardi gras I got off work at 5 and rode my bike to my Nana's, who lives on Reid. Me and Molly stopped by the field first to check out some of the floats and all the crazy drunk people. So I get home, shower and meet up with at her house.
We saw a few people from my school and turned down invites to a house party (thank god, you'll see why soon) and instead opted to find some of her friends at the bench and get totally wasted. So we did...woot woot, and let me tell you, her friends are hot.
Anyways, one of her friends came over crying her eyes out. It turns out she was raped...at the house party. The poor girl, she's only 14. And yes, she was on sticks, but he still took advantage of her. Thankfully, her sister came and sorted it out and they went to the clinic the next day, since she didn't remember what happened. She's alright, but it was rape. The asshole is in jail now.
I got sick about an hour later and went home to my Nana and Poppy's. ...after sobering up of course.
sunday: court party
just another reason to get wasted. Seriously....that's it. I had to put Katie to bed on some lady's back deck because she was off her ass, but I was pretty level headed the whole night. Went to bed around 5, slept on a plank of wood and woke up at 7 for work. Im beat.
good times.
in conclusion, I'd like to say something you won't hear from me very often.
God bless America.

Not getting kicked out of OLG! Hells fucking yes! At least I doubt it, usually people who are going to be kicked out of a show aren't incorporated into two new scenes. And Volpe said jack squat today. Eat that bitch!
...oh, and my block party is September 18th. Anyone who wants to come can. It'll be mad boring and you'll have to deal with my bitch of a next-door neighbor Princess Kerry McCabe. But there'll be beer, and after a while the adults get too sloshed to notice its gone.
I can't wait till the europe trip this easter. they like...don't believe in a legal drinking age, and if they do it ain't 21.
